Shortcuts - how do I edit automations in IOS 18?

Hi,

Since the release of IOS 18, the UI for creating/editing automations in the shortcuts app has changed, and I can't quite wrap my head around it. I've already figured out that creating automation requires you to set the trigger as normal, but then to long-press on the "new blank automation" button, which will finally bring you to the shortcut editor. However, when I apply that same workflow when trying to edit a preexisting automation, I end up with an empty automation with no actions.

Does anyone have any pointers for what to do in this instance?

Thanks!

I'm wondering the same thing.

I have an automation that I made. I'm picky, so I want my alarm clock music to play out of any connected bluetooth speaker, as opposed to whatever speaker the native alarm clock plays out of. Also, I want my music to wake me up shuffled. Anyway, I don't wake up at the same time every day, so whenever I want an alarm clock, I have to go edit it, and select the day/time. I also can't change what playlist I want to wake up to. I'd like to be able to duplicate my alarm clock automation 6 more times, then just set them as needed, but editing automations seems impossible in iOS 18.
