Selecting text while using Safari

Here's an easy question that I really should be able to answer. I am trying to copy a number from a gift card so I can use it. When I look at the "edit" option in Safari, the only option I see is "select all," which, of course, copies everything on the page when I then use the "copy" command. I cannot seem to select only the card number. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I'm not figuring it out, so any help would be most appreciated. I'm using an iPhone 13 Pro.

Have you tried using the text selection rotor? If it isn't present for you, you can add it in Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver > Rotor.

To use it, focus on the number, turn the rotor to "Text selection" swipe down to either character or word selection, and then swipe right to select by that level. Once the text has been selected, there should be a "Copy" action in the Edit rotor.
