selecting text in safari

I've got a physical keyboard for my ipad.
I have read about and used the keyboard lists in applevis.it in Another Place.

Can I select text using the keyboard in safari?
I know how to do if I'm in a tgext field, but Can I do this in safari on for example on applevis to select something and then paste
