Selecting multiple recipients in messages from contact list, in single shot?

Salam (Blessings) to all of the members out there.
I recently bought an Iphone SE, running IOS 13.5.
I came from the Symbian background, so let me explain in that way:
In Nokia e-5, I compose the text message and leave the 'to' field blank and presses the send key. contact list appears and one can choose as many recipients from this list. After choosing, when I presses the send key the message sent to those contacts.
Now, Here in IOS, when I Choose 'add'. The contact list appear, but I can only choose one contact, for next recipient, I had to click on 'add' once again.
Is there any possibility that from the contact list I might choose as many contacts as I want?
I also aware of the fact that in the 'to' field, we can type a contacts name and matches will appear in the list and we can choose from it. But what if we forget the name of the vip person to whom message must be communicated? I mean in contact list by seeing different names we can quickly decide whether someone needs this message (so check his/her name) or not (so ignore him/her).
There is some possibility by using groups, but not that convenient. And Yes, I'm also not aware how to create contact groups. :)
Any help in the matter is appreciated....
Thanks in advance....

I do not believe it is possible to select more than one contact at a time in iOS.

I have a group that I post to every day. The members do not change. In iOS, for the first time, you must add each contact, one at a time. I chose to add the names alphabetically. Then, the next time you wish to send another post, simply start typing the first members name of that group. You will see two options including their own contact info, as an item to choose, as well as their name including all the others in the group, as a second item to choose. These will appear as one contact. Just do a one-finger, double tap, on the second item, and it adds all contacts into the message.

Hope this helps.

Title says it all. How we can send this suggestion to apple developers? So, they might implement this.
