Anyone know, or used, an ftp CLIENT FOR iOS? I’d like to be able to browse to either the book, music or whatever wanting to download is, download, and once that’s done, import it into voice Dream Reader. Thanks for info.whater wav
I actually had been using FTP Manager for some time on my iPhone and was quite happy with it.
Unfortunately THEY "UPGRADED" THE APP SOME TIME AGO AND, ALTHOUGH ONE can still use the app with VoiceOver, the selection status of folders and files is no longer spoken with VoiceOver. Thus one isn't always certain which item is selected and will be acted upon when taking an action. Since I often manage a web site and podcast through this interface I didn't like the uncertainty of possibly making a mistake that would mess up the web site or podcast. I wrote to the developer severl times over the past year and he acknowledged my issue but hasn't posted any updates or remedies.
Since then I tried the File Browser that others on this site have recommended. This app is very accessible and can be used confidently with VoiceOver. Not only can I manage my FTP site with this app, but the app also enables me to connect to my networked home PC's to easily browse, manage, and copy files from my networked PC's. So, not only is this app able to be used for FTP management but it can also connect to PC's and one can use it with confidence.

FTP manager
I've not used it in ages, but the app I used to use is called FTP manager.
