Searching Youtube on an iPhone 4S

Hi all,
What I'm wanting to do, if it can be done, is search for the most recent video that I typed in my search box. For example, if I were to type in Adele on my desktop or laptop, I could search for videos that people may've added by her today, last week, or last month. Is there a way that I can search like this on the iPhone?

I've been trying to do that since my ipod touch and have been unable to do so. That's the only reason i don't use the app more.
