Hello,
for a long time I have been using Voice Dream Reader iOS app for reading both audio and text books. However, since I started to encounter issues with some books in my library getting corrupted and unavailable to play and random skipping of audio tracks during playback, I replaced Voice Dream Reader with BookPlayer. But now with BookPlayer, I am once again facing troubles of not being able to import any audio book. Whenever I open the import screen and press the Done button, no book gets imported.
Therefore, I am again searching for an accessible replacement audiobook reading app for iOS. Please do you have any recommendations?

Figured out what's the issue with BookPlayer
I've just solved the issue with BookPlayer. Rather than importing an audiobook in the form of ZIP file, I was unconsciously trying to import a regular folder of audiotracks. When downloading the audiobook on my Mac via Safari originally as a ZIP file, Safari automatically without my awareness turned the ZIP file into an extracted folder which I thought was a ZIP file. BookPlayer is unable to import regular folder of audio tracks, so I had to zip the audio tracks and import it again, and then it worked.
You're lucky
You're lucky.
I don't know what caused this, but my library on iOS is completely broken and even though the file names appear, none of them download and I keep getting an error telling me I don't have permission to access them.
Weirdly enough, the mac doesn't have this problem but I'm not exactly thrilled since I had several hundred books in there.
I hope some sort of fix comes along soon since there's no easy way to get the files out of the app to re import them.
possibilities
I haven't tried them yet, but someone recommended echobox player for audio books and Vox Libri for ebooks in a recent discussion on Mastodon about Voice Dream replacements.
It baffles me that Voice Dream can't figure out how to play mp3's in order.
Prologue or audiobooth
Those are the best alternative options for Audiobooks.
