Search button not available after dictation in some apps, running IOS 15.6.1

Hi, all. I often use the onscreen keyboard in search boxes so I did not notice this possible bug until a friend brought it to my attention. I am thinking this has occurred after the most recent IOS 15.6.1 update. When in apps like Amazon's main search box on its home screen, Instacart's search box, or Food Network's search feature, there's an issue with the search button being dimmed. This occurs after dictation only. The words are in the search box, but the search button is dimmed. If I type the search term in the box instead, the search button is available. Here's the fix that seems to work: After dictating, I double-tap on the edit box with one finger. Then, the search button is no longer dimmed. I am using an iPhone 12 Pro. Is anyone else experiencing this? My apologies if this has been mentioned already. Thanks so much!

Same version of iOS, when I dictate The search, bun is dimmed, what I have done as of late is just delete the last character and re-enter it, then the search button is no longer dimmed
It is no longer a problem in iOS 16 beta five

After dictating whatever you want to put in the search box, press space once and then the search button will be available. Hope that helps.

What is interesting is that in the IOS beta 16 this bug has been fixed.
