Saving images received as attachments in Facebook Messenger?

Hello,

If one receives a message via Facebook that contains an image, how can you save it so that it can be analysed by apps like Envision AI?

I have a message forwarded by a friend that contains an image. I have tried all that I can think of to save the image but to no avail.

Any suggestions welcome.

Double tap on the immage to open it, then there should be a share option.

On that screen you should also find an option to save to the camera role.

Hi,
Double tap the image then once opened swipe right you should hear a more button. Double tap this then swipe and you should get save image.

Did you get this to work?
We cannot help much without exact details of what you do and what results.
If you can open the image you could take a screen shot and try to werk with that.

Here's how I do it.

I go to the message & then double tap with 1 finger on it. From there, you get a list of options like remix & more options. Do 1-finger double tap on more options. From there, you will get another set of options forward photo, share photo, & save photo. Do another 1 finger double-tap on the save photo button, after which you will hear photo saved. After that, run the photo through the Ocr. app of your choice. Hope this helps.
