iOS and iPadOS
Hi. I have a problem. Sometimes, when I use Safari, the page sometimes gets stuck on 10%. Has anyone experienced this issue? What other browser should I use. I am connected to the Internet. I don't know why it is doing this.
I've had this problem before. The only way to solve this as for right now is to reboot your device.
Please try pressing down the power button and the home button and holding them for a few seconds. Then go into Safari and continue using it.
If it doesn't work, it may be WiFi problems.
This was happening to me on a single site and then wouldn't let me move away from it. I got past it by activating a Safari link in one of my email messages and starting Safari that way. After that worked I tried going back to that problem site which still froze. The email trick worked again until a little while later that the problem site was fixed.
10% is simply a red herring, it doesn't mean 10% of the page is loaded. when safari manages to only fetch the meta data, it indicates 10%, but in fact nothing else is loaded. this is usually caused by network problem, reload generally fix the problem, unless the network of the server in question is down.
however, this can also be the case safari refuse to process scripts embedded in the content.
finally, and this is the hardest to diagnose, it can be caused by ad blocker or similar software.
the only sure thing is when safari says 10%, it means nothing is loaded and not really 10%.
