Hi all.
Subject line says it all.
I’m looking for an accessible RSS app that supports push notifications whenever new content is posted to specific feeds I follow.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

NetNewsWire will do this.

To enable notifications for a specific feed, long press on the feed name and select “Get info”. On the resulting screen there's a simple toggle switch.

News Explorer and Fiery Feeds also support feed-specific notifications, but are paid.

All three are extremely accessible and have developers with a proven history of enhancing their apps for use with VoiceOver.

for the subscription you want notifying about, check the subscription settings, and there's a switch for local notifications. Be aware that these are generated locally, which means when the app is given a chance to perform a background refresh and not according to a server schedule, which means the notifications are not real-time and actually depend on many factors, including battery charge and how often you launch the app. But it's there and it does work.

do not think that Lire can deliver notifications, because there is no notifications at all inside settings.

Settings, Sync, Notifications. Or open the subscription page when reading an article. You can even control the option in bulk. The options don't appear in the iOS Settings app until notifications are first requested by the app, and that's probably why you never saw it.
