I'm posting this here because I assume if I get this working for the iPhone, it will also work for the watch, or at least that they're connected.
So I've transferred phones. On the old phone, and my watch, I used to get notifications, e.g. messages, Microsoft Teams, stuff like that. Now I'm not. SO for instance, if somebody sent me a message on Teams, I'd get that notification on the Mac and the phone and/or watch. Now I'm not. But it's set to do those notifications, I just went through notification settings today to make sure everything was set to sounds and banners at least, or maybe badges.
I should say I do get Weather Gods alerts. But I don't get the rest. Anybody know how to restore these, without resetting everything? I did have to delete and re-pair the watch, because of the update to WatchOS 26. But they're definitely paired and all now. Handoff is set up on the phone, I checked that just in case it was turned off.
Basically I should be getting noises about Teams messages and the like, on both the phone and the watch, and I'm not. Do I need to do sounds, banners, and badges? Do all of the options need to be set?
TIA for any help. It's kind of weird, because I feel like it should be set up properly.

Try Disabling and Reenabling Notifications in the App
If you haven't already, try going into Teams and disabling all notifications, then re-enabling them. This will force your device to re-register for notifications rather than porting the registration over from the old device.

I wonder if I'll have to do that with everything? A lot of it seems to be controlled by the notifications in settings. I'm not sure, though maybe I've missed it, that I'm getting messages on the watch for example. So say I miss a call and they leave a message, or, more likely, I get spam about sunglasses or something. These used to show up on the watch and make a noise. I'm not sure if they are at this point.
