I always found the Redit mobile website really tedious to get around on using VO so I was hopeful to see that they finally launched an iOS app. I downloaded the app and unfortunately it’s even more difficult to use.
Have other users of either the website or standalone app found any tips or tricks that make navigation with VO any easier? Also, has anyone tried one of the unofficial Redit apps?

I use the reddit app pretty much constantly.
You will do best if you drag your finger down the screen, any main parts, like titles of posts on the front page, will read out constantly when you touch them, and only ads or suggested pages don't read out.
The first buttons, the unlabeled ones, are upvote and downvote, with the first number being comments, and the second being the karma of the post, starting at 1 and going up as people upvote, and down as people downvote, obviously.
To open posts, I always hit the button showing number of comments, it just works better.
It's easiest to find the add comment before you start reading comments, it should be down at the absolute bottom of the screen. Also, in a sub but not a post, there should be an edit button or something on the other side of the third tab, and that's how you post.
If you have any specific questions, I can try to answer them.

Keep in mind that I'm pretty much only reading right now, though,and I haven't used a lot of the features.

Thanks for the above replies – very helpful stuff. I tend to flick as a primary means of getting around. I really need to get more used to dragging my finger. It’s probably quicker in the long run. I will try that out. I’m kind of obsessive compulsive about making sure I don’t miss any details, so I’m always concerned I will miss something by dragging. LOL
I do have a question about commenting on a thread. I’ve visited one post that had hundreds of replies and I couldn’t find any quick way to jump all the way to the bottom. I found myself scrolling endlessly with three fingers and I eventually gave up. Is there anyway to get all the way to the bottom of the comments thread quickly? Thanks again
vertical navigation
Hi. I don't use Reddit, but I've found this option on the rotor to be helpful. Go into your rotor settings in Vo. and toggle on vertical navidation. Tech support had me do this concerning another issue, and although it didn't solve the issue, I've found this to be helpful enough times that I've just left it on. Sometimes it's not very helpful though, but for the most part it is. It's just something you'll have to play around with. Hope this helps.
Two ways
There's two real ways to get to the bottom.
You can either just touch right above the home button, where there should be an "add comment" button which may or may not be there, and you may have to scroll down until it pops up, or you can do a 4 finger single tap near the bottom of the screen and flick left.
