Hi, Everyone. I do a lot of recording on my iPhone. I have noticed a problem with the voice memos app on a few iDevices that I've upgraded to IOS 9. I was hoping this would be fixed in IOS 9.3, but it hasn't seemed to be. The cursor keeps jumping to the beginning of the memo when I'm trying to fast forward to figure out where to trim it from, or the beginning of the list of memos when I'm trying to find the right one. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution? If not, can anyone suggest a replacement app, voice over accessible of course, that allows you to trim your recordings and send them to dropbox? Being able to manipulate my recordings and trim them means so much to me that it's the deal breaker that's stopping me from upgrading my phone beyond IOS 8 point whatever it's at right now. Thanks.

I use an app called Hokusay, A fully VoiceOver compatible audio editing and recording app. It has a couple of minor quirks but overall it works really well and integrates perfectly with dropbox. I actually learned about it from a podcast on this website. It's free so try it out
About voice memos… I have noticed it is gotten more difficult to use with each release of iOS, which is really a bummer. In it's early days it was such an easy to use, intuitive little recording program.

I use ht recorder, and have for about 2 years now. It's a paid app but it does what I need and so much more. I can even import recordings for editing. It is a complex app to use but I love it.
