Are there any VoiceOver-friendly navigation apps that allow creating routes by importing GPX track files? If not, can anyone recommend wayfinding apps that allow the user to record their own custom routes, rather than entering an address or POI that the app automatically generates a route to?
I have a couple of use cases where this capability would matter. One is a circular route on footpaths around a lake, where apps won’t create a circular route, and where the lack of address numbers on footpaths make it impossible for a route to be created automatically, but I’d still like to know that I’m choosing the correct side of each fork in the path as I go. Another use case is where there’s construction and sidewalk closures and the way around them is more complex than walking around the block. (I live in Germany, in which streets are not arranged in a grid pattern like they often are in the United States.) I’m curious whether other people have similar wayfinding needs, and how you work around them if there’s no straightforward solution in the available accessible apps.

Voice Vista.
You can do this by Voice Vista.
You can both create your own routes and import into the app from the gpx files.
