I'm thinking of starting a podcast to aid my business. Can anybody recommend their favourite app for creating and hosting podcasts and uploading them to Spotify? I know plenty about recording them but I need them to be on Spotify so an app which can do that would be amazing.

Use Backpack studio for recording and editing your podcast, It is a fabulous product for the price point.
I recommend Pinecast for publishing your content. It is free and you retain the rights to your content. Other sites, including Anchor can take your content as theirs once published and getting it back is a nightmare... read their terms of service carefully.

Anchor is now owned by Spotify. That would be the easiest way to get your podcast up and running. It comes with a lot of useful tools, and from what I know, it's pretty accessible.

Thanks everyone really helpful. I'm guessing Anchor is not a recording tool as well? I was hoping for one app to record, host and upload but maybe that's slightly lazy wishful thinking.
