Reading on Kindle Through Bluetooth

I'm looking for a better way to read Kindle books through the IOS app using a bluetooth speaker. Voiceover is unreliable for me, as my speaker wants to keep VO on the phone and only play music or similar audio. Is there another way to make this work beyond multiple steps and Voice Dream?

I'm aware that sighted folks are using speak screen somehow to play their audio. But I'm not sure how to make that happen as a VO user. Would that work? Is there any other idea I'm missing?

A bluetooth speaker that has a microphone and can be used to answer calls will likely work fine with voiceover and keep the voice on the speaker. Only larger bt speakers that don't have a phone answering function will leave voiceover on the phone. Other options include a bluetooth headset or connecting a speaker via the headphone jack or lightning to headphone adapter.

Does just swiping down with two fingers for the read all command not work? That's what I do to read Kindle text with my airpods.
