I am using pages to write my book on my iPad. However, I have a couple of questions.
Is there a way to share a document in other formats? I need to send it to someone to read and look through but they cannot open the pages standard format.
The other question I have is if there is a way to search the document for a word? I try the vo key plus f but it never gives me a result.

Re: questions about pages in IOS
When using Pages, you can save files in both Word and RTF. Just chose export and you will find these options.
My question, how are you opening documents in Pages on an iPad? When I select a Pages document and either double tap it or press VO Space on the keyboard, I get the rename file dialog. I can not figure out how to open files I have previously saved on the iPad. I can do it on the iPhone with a double tap, but it doesn't work on the iPad.

Exporting to a different format
I'm using an iPhone, so things might be a little different. If you tap "More," there will be an "Export option. This will have several options, one of which is Word format, there's also RTF format. You will need to export it somewhere like Dropbox or your email, etc.
Pages has its own search feature. That is also in the More option as "Find."
Good luck with your book, Sabrina.
Thank you
Thanks. Jim, I don’t know why you have this problem bevcause for me it works. My Pages is completely integrated in the files app so I just browse to the file I want and then double tap or press the up and down arrow or vo+space. It works just fine for me. I think that if you are in a document already and double tap the title this will open the rename so just make sure you have tapped the documents in the top left.
