Recently, discord has been updated with a slightly new layout for Messages on iOS. There used to be a button you can push labeled with someone’s username to go to their profile, but that’s not there anymore. Is there a way to access someone’s profile on iOS with voiceover?
One other problem I’ve been having even before the app was updated with the slightly new layout is that popup menus such as the profile and the message action menu cannot be exited unless voiceover is deactivated. Is there a way to exit these pop-ups without deactivating voiceover? Thank you in advance.

Screen recognition
You can turn on screen recognition, of which you can double-tap on someone's profile image (VoiceOver will say 'image'). Once you got the profile opened you can then go ahead and turn off screen recognition.
Note you will need to be on devices that supports this feature.
Until Discord fixes this problem, this is the only workaround I can think of. Someone here really needs to report this accessibility bug to Discord...
