A Question on you version Bible app

Hello, I would like to know how to browse reference footnotes with VO in the youversion Bible app. When I am Reading a certain passage with this app, I sometimes hear vo say # in the middle of the text. I assume these are footnotes.
I am wondering how to read these. Double tapping them would not show the content.
If anyone can give me some tips, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you.

I can't promise this will work, but after you double tap, check near the bottom of the screen on the right just above the "next chapter" button. You may find an icon that says, "action, 1 verses." Note that with the current VO scroll bug in iOS 8 you have to make sure the verse is displayed on the screen. Double tapping that gets you an icon collection on the lower part of the screen that allows you to do such things as share, copy, and see related references. Whether it's the version I read or an option I have set, I don't get the footnote numbers, so I can't be sure you'll get something similar, but it's something to try. When I tap the related reverences I only get notes from other users.
