I was clearing out my recents in the Phone App and realized that there is a tab called Favorites. So what's the difference between a favorite and a Contact entry? Thanks.
You can add favorites for the numbers you want quick access to, so you don't have to go through your contact list. Often times, people have a multitude of contacts, family, colleagues, etc. Favorites can be used to give quick access to the select people you call frequently.
Also, contacts gives you access to a person's contact information, whereas favorites only gives you access to a specific number.
In addition, you can set your phone to respond in a variety of ways to people in your Favorites during "Do Not Disturb" hours while keeping others from disturbing you during these times. Thus people in your Favorites have special permissions, so to speak, for getting in touch with you.
