Hello everybody. How are you? I hope you are fine.
I have a question for you. If I'm going somewhere using GPS, I usually like to keep the phone in my pocket, for some reason I don't find it attractive to hold the phone in my hand.
That's why it's so important to me that Voice Over constantly tells me how many feet or how many feet to return. i.e. if that distance is decreasing I want it to let me know.
Apple Maps currently does this, but I've heard from some that Google Maps is also good. But, once I tried using it, Voice Over doesn't repeat the distance to me all the time without flicking. I have to control myself.
Is there any way to solve this problem? If not, then I have to keep using Apple Maps.
Also, I walk with Air Pods on one of my ears while walking. Do you have any advice for me on this? Should I go with Air Pods? Or should I get a different headset for these walking jobs?
Thanks for the answers.
Have a great day.

I've heard bone conduction headphones are god
You can still har what's going on around you but the sound goes through your cheeks which to me is a bit weird so i'm not really interested though others enjoy using them. If you want another app, try blind square. Also I use google maps and my wat will tick tock and tap the side of my wrist, so left will sound slightly different then the right. The tick tock tones are enough of a difference I notice them. I haven't walked yet, I was in a car when I used them for the first time. Good luck
In google maps
you will be alerted once you are 200 meters away from a turn and again when you reach the turn. So I guess, continue to use apple maps where you can.
