Hi. I have noticed that my Apple Music seems to collect a lot of cash data and the only way to remove cash is to use The memory and disc scanner pro app to delete junk files that are left on the iPhone Is there a way of turning off cash data during playback? I also use Google play music and I have the option to turn off cash data during playback.

I only know of a way to do this manually, and you will need to follow the steps in this exact order to do it. First go to settings/music, and turn off your iCloud library. You will be told that this will erase all Apple Music tracks from that device, select "turn off". Don't worry, we'll get them back before we're done. We're now done with settings for the time being. Now, go to the Music app. Then, go back to Settings and turn iCloud Library back on, and choose to murge your libraries, which will put the stuff you wanted to download back on your device and clear that pesky cache. You may want to be sure you are connected to wifi when doing this. Good luck!

Sounds simple, but I would just run the memory cleaner and disk scanner app once a week to clear out the cache. It will get rid of other junk anyway as well.

Take care.

Hi. Thank you for that advice! However I'm having the same issue with podcasts and the cleaner is not doing much for cleaning out the cash within the podcast app as I don't have anything downloaded and it's using over 100 MB
