A friend told me that you can lock an iPod Touch in portrait mode so it doesn't go to landscape. Now I was wondering how do I go about doing this?

The way to do this is very easy. 1. Doubleclick the home button so that you are on the appSwitcher screen. 2. With 3 fingers, swipe from the left side of the screen to the right side of the screen. This will bring you to the area with your music controls and the portrait lock button. 3. On the bottom left corner, there should be a button that is labeled, (Rotation lock) When Voice-Over reads the button, it will say something like, (Rotation lock, unlocked.) And this means that the ipod touch can be put in to landscape mode. 4. Doubletap this button, and then it should say, (Rotation lock, locked.) This means that the iPod Touch has been locked to portrait mode. If you ever want the iPod Touch to be unlocked again for the different rotations, you just repeat the steps above, and the Touch should go back to being rotation Unlocked. Hope this helped.
