Hi all!
I am using an apple magic keyboard and iOS 15 on an iPhone SE newest one. I am having weird issues with safari and this apple magic keyboard. On my mac and previously on iPhone I was able to do command-l and could go directly to the address field. This no longer works, and in fact I can not enter address info in the field with the keyboard. If I press a key on the keyboard it says "keyboard hidden". If I am in some spot other then the address field it usually works. I've talked to both apple and apple accessibility and they can't give me any help. Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jim

Interesting. I'm using a magic keyboard case for my iPad running iPadOS 15 and am not experiencing these problems. Would be interesting to see if anyone is experiencing similar issues. Ever since updating my iPad, I have been loving the productivity experience and I have not turned on my laptop for days
Known bug
This is a known bug:
if you have Safari configured so that its address bar is at the top of the screen, you cannot use a Bluetooth keyboard or braille display's keyboard to enter text in to the address bar
So, a fix for now is to switch to the new Safari layout option which has the address bar at the bottom of the screen.
Thank you
I switched back to bottom address bar and it works just finne. Didn't know about the bug. Thanks.
