problem uninstalling apps

hi, when I double tap, and hold my finger on an app, I want to delete, it doesent do nor say nothing at all. no edit mode, or whatever,. using ios 8.1.1. is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

I was just successfully able to delete an app from my phone using the latest update. Remember to double tap and hold until you hear the 3 assending clicky noise, and then you'll be in edit mode. then you can swipe over, double tap delete and then confirm the action and then the app will be gone.

Keep in mind that native IOS apps IE phone, messages mail etc cannot be uninstalled.

I don't want to delete native apps. lets say chrome. I hear the triple sound, I release and click,but no edit mode, it opens the said app instead. veird.

sorry for double posting. okay, I pressed and held another app, enter the edit mode, and I was able to remove chrome this way.

Seend iOS8 was released couple of months ago it brought some VoiceOver bugs one of those affect and been confirmed multiple times
Deleting or moving apps located on the last roe of the device has some notable bugs specially the last/one if you compare moving or deleting apps located on the first, secoung or third roe who allow make all those changes.
this issue affect at: iOS 8, 8.02, 8.1 and 8.1.1
