Problem reading with iBooks 3.2

I've recently come back to iBooks after a long time. I'm on version 3.2 - don't know how new this is, but it seems to be the latest version. Anyway, when I am reading automatically, VO reads the end of the page twice, on every page. This mass reading impossible. This happens both with epup files I have created myself and with books i download from the iBooks store. Anyone got any ideas? JT
