Problem: QuickNav without Bluetooth Device

Hi,

I'm currently experiencing a problem with voiceover and quicknav, and am wondering if anybody has dealt with this before and what they've done about it. Here's the situation.

I have a bluetooth keyboard and a braille display paired to my iPhone. I use them interchangeably. I know that when I enter a textbox to type, quicknav turns off. Simple enough. The problem is, now, when I'm not connected to either one of the devices, and I enter a textbox to type, using just the keyboard on the screen, quicknav turns off and there's no keyboard on the screen.

My question is, how can quicknav be turned off when I don't have either bluetooth devices connected to my phone?

I have an iPhone 5C with iOS version 10.1.1. Any feedback is greatly welcomed.

I have actually experienced a similar problems several times running iOS 10.2 on my iPhone 6 with VoiceOver.

The scenario:

I navigate to an edit field on a web site in Saffari, single finger double tab to edit, and use the on-screen keyboard to enter a password or user name.

On several occasions, part way through typing the user name, the on-screen keyboard has disappeared and the edit box is no longer in edit mode.

The first time this happened I thought I did something wrong, but I've seen this happen on several other occasions.

This is without having any external braile or QWERTY keyboard connected.

when I double tap on an edit field quicknav always goes off.
If this does not work for you I would try turning bluetooth off in settings.
