Problem with new app store

Hello all,
For some reason with the new app store I am having to manually refresh it to get my updates to show. While on the updates tab I have to perform a three finger swipe down to refresh it so any updates I have will show. Anyone else seeing this? If not what can I try to do to correct this? I have reset my phone by holding down the power button and the volume down button and it still does this.

Regards,

Hi,
I'm having the exact same issue, I thought I didn't have any updates, since updating to ios 11, then I did a three-finger swipe down', and I had about 11 or 12 updates. Anyway, I guess it's a slightly annoying bug, which will hopefully be fixed in iOs 11.1.

I just open the App Store application and had to refresh in order to find the new updates.

Yeah I have this problem as well. Pull down to refresh was a new feature but I didn’t realise that it would be the only way to get updates.

I too have this problem, and it's quite annoying to say the least. I hope that this is not a new feature, I've emailed apple accessibility about it so maybe we will get some clear answers on this issue.

Be sure to notify Apple even though others have done so. The more reporting, the better.

Not a VoiceOver issue. But, the wish list is now missing from the App Store. This is a real problem if you have bookmarked apps to buy.

I have the same exact issue here with App Store on my iPhone 7, I thought that there were really no apps update and even thought that app developers are taking time to catch up. Then, yesterday, I heard a friend told that there were updates for Facebook and Messenger but didn't get them when opening the App Store. But thanks to those who mentioned about manual content refresh method, I have 7 updates including Facebook and Messenger available, just finish updating those apps. Really hope it will be among the bugs patched in iOS 11.0.1 next week even though it's going to be a minor update. I can assure you that the update will be coming in a few days time, if Apple follow their past years trends after major iOS release

Where are the purchased apps listed and how does one find purchased apps that haven't been downloaded to the device?

Hello,

I am using an iPhone 7 plus. I do not have this problem. When I go to the app store> the update tab shows me how many updates are available.

I am snot sure if this is a bug, a device specific problem but I suspect Apple will say it’s not a bug since it does not happen to everyone.

Have you folks tried a factory restore and setup as new? I did just that over the weekend and it seems like a lot of the problems I encountered went away.

HTH and good luck.

Hi,
What I do to find the purchased part is to go into the app store > apps tab and then hit my account. Once there, you have purchased up towards the top of your screen. HTH

Thanks, Justin. I found the Accounts button where you said I'd find it. I also found it on the Updates tab before I pulled down with 3 fingers. After the 3-finger pull down gesture, the Accounts button wasn't present and I couldn't figure out how to get it back. This new App Store is going to take some getting used to.
