This message is to check if someone else here has found the problem that I will explain. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is sponsoring a registry of people with retinal conditions so that we can be matched with clinical trials. You can register by visiting MyRetinaTracker.org. I registered there last year without any problems and also I can access the site without problems. The issue that I have is that an important part of being part of this registry is that you have to complete some surveys with information about your condition. I don't know what technology they use for this surveys, but Safari can't read the information on those pages. As a matter of fact, it will say that the webpage is empty, although there are the questions and buttons as my sighted son was able to confirm.
This problem occurs in Safari on my Mac and in my iPhone. I contacted the people of My Retina Tracker and they insist that the company that they contracted for making the page told them that the page is 100% accessible, which I'm sure it is not. I would like to know if someone else has registered there and noticed the problem. I suppose that other browsers do not have the problem, but still I think that many blind people use Safari in their iPhones and it is hard to believe that The Foundation Fighting Blindness, an organization created to help blind people, is sponsoring a project for blind persons that is not completely accessible.
