Hi, so I have upgraded to iOS9. I cannot se the contacts in my app switcher. That's fine, I know it has been removed. Which was pointless anyway. So swipe down with 3 fingers on the home screen. Spotlight appears. With a search edit box. And do to this search edit box, I cannot see any of my contacts. HOw do we get rid of the box so I can see my recent stuff? Thank you.

Update: I have saw that we need to swipe right with 3 fingers. Ok, I did it. Voiceover says spotlight, but nothing happens. Is it dependant on the country I am in? If so, it is natural that siri will not offer suggestions and stuff, but it is pointless to not Show my recent contacts.

The three-finger swipe to the right is the suggested method to make the new Spotlight Search become available. The three-finger swipe down still acts as before but doesn't show as many details. With regard to your contacts not showing in Spotlight, go to Settings, General, Spotlight Search. Here is where you can customize the Spotlight Search. Contacts may be turned off, since you aren't seeing them in Spotlight. Do a single-finger double tap to toggle the contacts on.
