Hi there.
So I just updated to iOS 11 .2, and one thing that I noticed was this:
When I press the power button on the side of my iPad Air, the screen locks as in previous versions, but if I then lift move or shake the device, the screen unlocked itself.
I did some research and it seems to be something called raise to wake feature, which Apple claims is only for the newer model of iPhone, and since this is the case, there is no way to turn it off in the iPad settings.
I’m not the only one to have had this problem as shown here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8192758
Though the advice given there doesn’t seem to work for me.
I was just wondering if anyone else had an iPad Air who noticed this problem, and whether there was any way of disabling this feature as it is very annoying.
