Pause button in the Dropvox App

Hello everyone, After reading about the Dropvox app I have been thinking about purchasing it for myself. Before doing so, I would like to know whether it is possible to pause a recording and then resume it. Without this function, the app would lose its appeal for me. Any information you might have would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello from Irradiated Software, To answer your question, no, DropVox does not have a pause feature yet. I've avoided a pause feature specifically because the vision impaired community gets great use out of DropVox. Adding a pause feature would potentially reduce the usability as VoiceOver can't speak when a recording is in progress. However, it would be possible to add a setting so users can enable/disable a pause like feature (single tap to pause, double-tap to stop), which I have already implemented in DropVox 2.0. Hello, Steve, Thanks for your comment. The approach to pausing a recording you have described will suit my needs quite well. Is DropVox 2.0 about to be released? I would be very interested in purchasing the app if a pause feature is implemented in the settings.
