Gave a friend 11 pro max and a magic keyboard with lightning. If the phone restar or is turn on, and asking for the code, can she use the keyboard? If so, how? use space bard or just input the numbers? Step by step be helpful. She is learning to use an iPhone for the first time. Want her to have a good experienc learning iPhone.

Hi there,
You can, indeed, input a passcode with an external keyboard. You don't need to do anything special, just connect the keyboard to the phone and, when prompted, type your passcode normally. That is, just enter 123456 or whatever it may be, when the screen appears. No need to place voiceover focus on any particular element.

Correct. Just wake the phone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the passcode field, then you can enter the passcode using the number row/number pad, or if it's alphanumeric, using the full keyboard as if you were typing it on Windows. If the code is correct, the phone will unlock automatically without your having to press enter.
