Hi. I'm having a bit of an annoying issues with Messenger.
When I went to hit the new message button, it didn't work. I got taken to name this group chat. Did Facebook change this? I can kind of work around it for now, if I search for the person's name and then click on it, then compose the message. It's annoying, but it works.
Anyone else having this issue? Can't remember if they pushed an update out recently or not, io I don't know if it's just on the fritz, or if it's a change, or both. Or maybe it's my internet. I don't know. Any help is appreciated! Hope you are having a good easter! Thanks in advance.

I tried it and it worked then I did the app update and it still worked.
For some reason
For some reason, it's still not working!
I even re-installed it and still didn't fix it. I even updated my ipad out of desperation and still no dice when I tried it after that. Don't know what's going on. And I can't put the device in dfu. mode, because the only computer we have that's capable is an employee computer. And I noticed this after I took it out of the cloud, after I'd had my ipad turned off for a few days because of a miqraine.
Another strange issue
Hi all. When I click on People, i find suggestions of who to add. I don't want that, I want who's active on messenger. Can anyone help? Thanks.

On the home tab on my Messenger app, there are buttons that say video chats, calls, messages, and active & the number of people online. Double tap on the active button and you should go to that screen.
The new messenger interface
The new messenger interface looks weird to me. The "Active" on the home tab is annoying. I like the idea of putting the "active" on the people tab a lot better.
