Since updating to iOS 17.0.1, and previously, with iOS 17.0, I have noticed that certain notification sounds don't, well, sound! I am aware of the new "Rebound" system-wide notification sound that Apple has chosen to replace the long-heard "Tri-tone" with, and that sound is too quiet. However, this applies to email. I have one account I have set to alert with a sound. Alerts are on, sounds are switched on, a sound is selected, and I am not hearing it when new mail arrives. I tried switching alerts on for another account I use, and they were silent, as well.
This also seems to apply to an app, (Diii Notify), which is an app I set to chime each hour. Other apps to keep track of time aren't sounding, either- I have tried several. notifications from text/phone calls, Teams, whatsApp, Instacart, and so on notify as normal. Has anyone else experienced mail notifications being silent since the update?
