Smile, hope you like the subject.
I have no News app on either my iPhone 5s or iPad Mini 2 both running iOS 9, of course. I am in the UK and so it should be there. But it isn't. I double checked my region settings and they appear to be correct. Please, what's going on? Thank you, any responses greatly appreciated.

I am using Iphone 5C and have just updated to IOS9. I ransacked every page on the screen, but the News app could not be found. Any advice is much appreciated.
No News
After upgrading to IOS 9, I still have the News Stand App but no News App. Why is this the case? I am also based in the UK.
In US
I don't have the app either. Went to the App Store & the link for it doesn't work.

Hi. I am also in the UK, updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 5s, and iPad Air. No News Stand app, and no News app either.

My first guess is that Apple has limited the news app to only the USA. This is terrible for people outside of the country if it's the case... News Stand should be there in my opinion for people who can't get the News app.
There are other news apps you guys could get, like one of these...

What's happened to that girl? She's taken an acting class, so she's better at intonation, the sort of stuff linguists call prosody. But her pronunciation is totally weird. I know my poor old 16GB phone has about had it, but is anyone else having problems understanding Samantha? I can't run Alex on this so five-minutes-ago phone. Type a Cap B if you don't believe me! I don't like the compact voice, but may have to resort to it. Yuck!
