They have done away with the calculator in IOS 11 update. It was so convenient having it on swipe. They have taken away the whole thing. Now you need to download an app for the same
You might have thought that the Calculator is not in iOS 11 since it no longer appears in the Control Center. Actually, iOS 11 still has the calculator (as the previous poster pointed out).
You can either open the Calculator by asking SIRI to open it or from the Spotlight Search feature.
Also, if you go to Settings / Control Center you can choose to have the Calculator appear or not in the Control Center.
I don't remember the last time I actually opened the calculator app. I usually just ask SIRI "What is 38 times 23?" Or "What is the natural log of 4,967?" I understand you might still want to open the app, but perhaps using SIRI for calculations will be helpful.

The calculator is still part of the ios. The icon looks different.
