iOS and iPadOS

Hi. I've downloaded Netflix on my iPhone6 and am trying to use it. There is AD on there, but how do I even find the menus? I can't find them anywhere. All I see with voiceover, is names of films, and when you tap them, nothing happens. It's like the home screen doesn't disappear. So, what do I do?

Hey, I still have Ios8.2 so not sure if helpful, but I have used Netflix on the IOS for 2-3 years now and I would have to say it is semi-accessible.
You can play movies or shows, search for such titles, choose genre and the subsequent movies under the genres, and info can be read by VO. The home screen you can scroll down top 10, recently viewed and added, but choosing the title is unpredictable as the voice over cursor does not click the movie after passing a set amount of titles down the list.
I cannot view the star rating for the movie but it gives you the choice to choose how many stars you want to rate it yourself however VO does not speak back confirming if the rate input was successful. choosing episodes down the list of the initial movie information is quite buggy but choosing episodes within the movie works perfectly. Fast forwarding the scruber or time line of the movie is quite buggy as it only shows percentage instead of time as wellas only gives you the choice of percentage when fast forwarding (i.e. 0-100% in 10% increments without being able to choose the single digits). TBH I hope there is more bug fixes with Netflix or maybe it might be the old IOS version I still have as I have read some movies now include described video especially with DareDevil because apparently many persons who are blind complained to Netflix about the lack of DV.

sorry no Skype I will create soon, but I'm not sure even if I can help you through Skype lol. Try clicking on buttons or do a trial and error kind of process to ge a feel of the app. Possibly delete the app and reinstall it if it does not show you anything on the screen. Sorry I wish I could be of more help!

Hi,
The part that allows you to actually play the chosen movie is displayed as an overlay on top of the home screen and swiping left or right doesn't seem to get to it. Instead, you can try slowly dragging your finger up on the screen, starting from the (approximate) center of the bottom edge. The moment you hit a text, usually part of the credits or movie description, you have the focus on the movie overlay and can swipe left until you find the button "Play".
Best regards,
Andreea
