iOS and iPadOS
Hi. I am looking for apps on iOS to batch convert .caf, .aif, .aiff, .m4a and .wav files to .mp3. The apps can be from the app store or Cydia, but I have looked on both and also on google and have not found what I am looking for. I have found some apps that use the internet for conversion and those are ok, but I would rather have an app that can convert locally without the internet and I have not found an app like that yet. I have tried audio share, but it can not convert to .mp3 and it can not batch convert. You have to convert every file one at a time. Thank you.

i agree with the previous poster. never seen anything like it. you might just want to satisfy yourself with getting something for windows or OSX, what ever your preffered OS is. and transfering them to your iDevice.

My os is windows, which is off topic for this site, so if anyone knows of any accessible windows converters, please contact me off site at jessicabrown531@gmail.com. Thank you. However, I would rather have an iOS app, because I am not very good at my computer. I find for me working with iOS is way faster then my computer and I only use my computer when I have to.

Hi, if you have recorded with the voice memos app on your iOS device and have iTunes installed on your Windows computer. As I said its a bit long winded to do but if it all goes correctly the end result should result in an .MP3 version of your file. Check out this podcast from the Blind Geek Zone. Look for the heading: Create MP3 File using ITunes and Jaws I actually kind of do it this way too but on my Mac and too my knowledge its the only way I've found to do it without requiring an internet connection. Trust me at first when you do it it may seem such a chore but if you come to do it regularly then it should hopefully become second nature for you. I hope this helps and good luck with converting your files to that universal format MP3 http://www.blind-geek-zone.net/bgz-audio-postings/
