I hope i'm posting this in the right forum topic. If I did it wrong, please let me know where this should be posted. I posted this here because there wasn't a place for the forum topic I was looking for.

Anyway, let me explain whaar I want to read. I'm trying to read the User Guide for the APH Monarch Braille Display, and VoiceOver will not read the actual information. Instead, VoiceOver will read only the table of contents and not the actual information. Is there a way to make the table of contents to go away completely?

I recently posted a forum topic today ain the morning, but I haven't gotten a reply from someone. Can you, AppleVis reply to me on this post: “Need help: VoiceOver not getting out of contents tables? I really need a response as soon as possible today.

Thank you and have a good rest of your day.

If you need an immediate response, you should contact Apple's Accessibility Support. A community forum in which almost everyone is a volunteer isn't the place to expect quick answers. You might get them, but if so, that's your good luck, not how it's expected to work, let alone guaranteed.
You didn't describe the issue clearly enough for me to give you a useful answer. What file format is the document in? What application are you using under iOS to read it? Basic details are necessary before anyone can provide helpful answers.

After activating the item that you want focus to go to, try tapping your finger in the middle of the screen. If the cursor has moved to the selected item but VoiceOver focus is still stuck in the table of contents, placing your finger in the middle of the screen should hopefully help you get VoiceOver focus where the cursor is. If this doesn't work, I would contact the authors of the guide for further assistance.
