hi there, I do also have the same problems, and we should not take this. I feel that sense they are not listening to us, we as gps users should switch to someone who will like motionx gps drive or waze. they at least have listened to concerns I've had and tried to help me.

On my previous iphone4, which is now in my mother's hands, I also experienced the infomous sluggishness issue, so yesterday, I decided to do something about it, and the result is surprisingly that all along my theory is been right that the issue could be from restoring your iPhone from back up after you all updated to iOS5. I don't want to be the Mr. Know it all, but if you think about it, after you updating your phone to iOS 5, then restoring it from back up, which came from the iOS 4, there could be possibilities of conplic somewhere in between of the restoration. so to cut the chase, here is what I did. First, I backed up everything via iCloud, then restored it to the factory setting without backing it up on iTunes. Then waited till the iPhone completely restored the iPhone. When I kinda figured out that the restoration was complete, I triple clicked the home button, to activate the Voice Over, then followed the promt to restore it from the iCloud back up. Then I complete the rest of the set up. Again, this may not work for everyone, but I'm telling you, on my old iphone4 it did work! It works a lot faster now, but not as fast as my new iPhone 4s, which is very obvious because that one has a dual processor. As we most of us know, this whole process takes a while, So if you decided to try this method,do it wiht your own discression. and lastly, with the Navigon issue, It does work for me,there is still a bit of lag, but like I've said and done from above, it works way better now. I've not had an opportunity yet to fully test the update, but the buttons that were not visible to VoiceOver in the last version are now accessible. However, there still seems to be a major resource issue when running Navigon with VoiceOver on an iPhone 4. Some buttons are very difficult to operate, particularly those on the main menu, with VoiceOver focus hopping around the page as you try to double-tap buttons. Things are a little better when I use the split-tap, but it can still be somewhat hit and miss. I suspect that those of you with an iPhone 4S will find this update very usable. As for those of use with older devices ... well, it's still likely to be usable, but we'll have some irritations to deal with.
