Navigating in the Books App.

Hi all. I've got a few questions about using Books.

So I sent Personal Power, the ePub version, into Books. I can read it, e.g. by swiping down with two fingers. As it reads, it will say "heading", at section breaks I assume. However, if I set the rotor to headings and swipe up and down, it says no headings were found. What am I doing wrong here?

If I go to the pages thing at the bottom of the screen, it says it's adjustable, and if I slide up, it says "loading pages". However it might only do it once. I see a button that says something about going back to a previous page. Is this at all useful?

Finally, I guess any tips? As an example, I'm not sure how to get back to the table of contents to pick a different chapter, and I assume there are better ways to move through books. In particular, I might want to jump around in that book, for example if I want to read about some apps but then go back and tackle adding settings to the rotor. If there's a guide/podcast on this that would be great, I did search but didn't readily see anything come up, but maybe I just missed it.

Hi! It's unfortunate that VoiceOver no longer automatically starts the next chapter in Apple Books, but there is a workaround which I use in that app. When the book is open,, there is a Menu button at the bottom right of the screen, and, when you double-tap that button, Table Of Contents is near the top of the next screen, and you can open that to find the next chapter. I hope this helps!

I might try Voice Dream Reader then, I think o bought it ages ago back when I had an iPod. We'll see if it navigates any better. But at least now I know how to get back to a place where I can jump sections.
