My annoyance with Apple maps

Alright
So
Today I was with my support worker and we were getting directions to a shop,
So I asked Siri to get directions, all that Jazz
Finally I give up on using Siri since it doesn’t wanna work, so I go onto the Apple maps app search up the address and I start my roots in the car
As we’re travelling along, I have my Spotify playlist on.
Somewhere over the line I find a song I don’t like, so I attempt to go to the next button whilst on my lock screen, but nope, I can’t find it. And here is my reason.
The entire map is covering the entire screen blocking out all other buttons except a few buttons on the bottom bottom of the screen including some random expand button
So I can’t skip that song I don’t like on Spotify
so I guess I’ll just turn my volume down a little bit until the end of the song
Kind of annoying since the song being broadcasted for Bluetooth though
But is there a way that I can show all of my buttons on the lock screen and not the map and Apple maps
