I am a rap artist who wishes to mix master and make beats on my iPhone. I have tried garage band and band lab both with little success. If anyone noes how to either use these apps well, or any other good alternatives that would be great.
The GarageBand user guide now has a very good section on using it with VoiceOver. I've only managed to do some basic multitrack editing with it, but a lot of the audio production concepts are things I don't understand in general.
I wish someone who really knows what they're doing and can also teach well, could put together some podcasts or YouTube vids of how to do audio production with GB or Logic, not just from an accessibility perspective, but for a total newbe to audio editing. There's a great YouTuber who does GB tutorials, but of course they're meant for a sighted person.
I see posts from time to time asking if things like channel strips, audio plug ins, automation, etc, are or are not accessible. But what do things like that mean in the first place?
I’m pretty decent when it comes to mixing/producing music concepts. I just don’t know how to do it on GarageBand, especially not on iOS on an iPhone. I was able to find a lot for Mac, but not so much mobile. Would you mind sending me the link?
