Microsoft Word for iPhone: problem creating and editing documents

Hello,
I have a couple of problems with Microsoft Word for iOS.
1. when I create a new blank document, VoiceOver does not show me the text area where to write. I see everything, including toolbar with character change, color, and so on; but not the blank area!
Same if I attempt to edit an existing document.
2. The rare cases I manage to access writing area, input braille screen seems not to work, not to give voice feedback while writing.
I have two online accounts: office 365 and dropbox.
Please let me know if someone else is encountering these problems!
