Hello 👋
I am looking for any apps that help your mental health. Whether it's apps like MoodKit that help track your mood, or literally anything that can help improve your mental health. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I hope everything is going well. Don’t know if this counts, but there’s an app called hear me which allows you to talk to a listener, which is essentially like a volunteer psychologist, for lack of a better way to put it. The accessibility is decent enough. Hope this helps.
Hi, Bree! First off, I'm sorry to say, that sadly, I can't offer a solution. However, what I CAN and WILL tell you, is that, I too, am looking for these kinds of apps. So, know that you're not alone. I hope all is going well for you, and or gets better for you. If you do end up finding something, please post it here, because, I'm looking for the same thing. I imagine others might be as well.
Obviously theres no guarantees but I have found Waking Up by Sam Harris to be lifechanging, its a meditation app but its a little more depth than the McDonald’s calm and headspace. Nothing wrong with those apps but they tend toward the surface level without delving too deeply. I think of Waking Up as a user manual for human conciousness. I also found Yoga 2 hear by Sue fuller on audible to be exceptional for calming the mind and allowing you to exist in a more grounded state. They are especially good because everything is described so well. There’s everything from complete beginner to intermediate in there but make sure you get the 3 hour books as the 1 hour ones are just 1/3 of the full versions. Good luck and I hope you find some piece.
I've found hapi to be very good.
For setup you'll need sighted help but once you are through the setup process the app is definitely usable.
It's been a lifesaver for me.
Sorry for reviving this thread. I want to recommend Moodpath, an app that tracks your mood and provides insights into your emotional well-being over time. I use it every day.
I've been using an app called Calmer for practicing mindfulness, which has been helpful. It has guided mindfulness exercises that I've included in my daily routine. These exercises help me stay grounded and reduce feelings of anxiety.
Is Calmer by the same developer who has Calm? I sampled that one a few years ago and it left a bit to be desired in the accessibility department. I've heard good things about Insight Timer though as well. I'm not really in need of one of the mental-health apps myself, but it would be nice. I've found the included Background Sounds to be pretty good, although that's all they are. There's no meditation guidance with them or anything like that. In addition, has anybody been to http://www.imood.com before? I read about that website several years ago. It's pretty good but not sure if they have a mobile app. Regarding the native iOS journal app, I've been using it to track my daily food intake and it's working great. I suppose one could jot down their mental-health related stuff too though.

What about Apple
Thought in iOS 17 and watch there were ways to help such as a journal that kept track of moods?
the journal app is very…
the journal app is very basic and doesn't have the rich feature sets of mental health focused apps. That may change next week though.

OK. Thanks.
