Managing storage on an iPhone 5S.

I have an iPhone 5S (32GB). While I was watching a movie, I was alerted that I had only 3GB free space. I deleted some unnecessary apps, check my iCloud settings, and made sure iTunes Match was on. I have purchased several movies and Tv shows, but I stream them instead of downloading them. When I connected the iPhone to my Mac and checked the amount of free space on it via iTunes, it said I had 13.3GB free. But after disconnecting the iPhone, going into settings, general, usage, it said I had only 3.2GB free. Now I don't know what to believe. According to the usage stats, the data on the iPhone doesn't add up to 24GB. How do I reset the stats? Or what do I need to do? I will delete all the content and start over if I have to, but if I can avoid that... I would appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

Hello Every app you use takes up space. Go in to general, usage and remove any appssuch as audio boo and stuff. Once you reinstallthem via the app storethey will be in the same place they were when you last use the app. I believe the usage stats always not itunes as other is taking up morethen you would think.
