Can someone please tell me how to create folders for my apps on my i phone. I am a new i phone user and am just learning how to operate my phone. I do not like having so many pages to find what i am looking for. If you respond to this message please give a detailed process of creating and renaming a folder for the apps. I also have a question. How many apps can fit into one folder?

A folder can hold up to 12 apps. Double tap and hold on an app. Once you hear the three tone sound, you can drag it on top of another app. Voice Over will tell you it's on top of the second app. When you let go, a new folder is created with both apps in it. iOS will name the folder with something it thinks is appropriate, and if you are grouping similar apps, like say games, it does a remarkable job of picking a good name. You can rename the folder if you wish by swiping to the name and changing it. The folder will exist as long as there is something in it. You can double tap and hold, then drag apps into it. You can open it by double tapping. Once inside, you can double tap and hold, then drag apps out of it. After you finish moving apps around, be sure to hit the home key to finish the process. You cannot put a folder in a folder.

Hey newbie, This is something that might seem complicated at first, but once you have done it a few times, it is easy. Make sure Voiceover it turned on. One finger double tap on the app you want to move, and on the second tap keep your finger on the screen. You will hear a noise and than VO says hold to move app. If you have taken your finger off the screen but you are still in edit mode that is ok. You will know that you are in edit mode as when you touch an app, it will say double tap to delete instead of the normal double tap to open. Don't worry about being afraid of deleting an app, as there is a secondary screen that comes up asking if you are sure if you want to delete the app. While you are in edit mode one finger double tap on the app you want to move, and just place it on top of the app that you want to have in the same folder. This also might take a little getting used to, but once you have it is simple. You just pretty much put the two apps on top of each other, and VO will say creating Entertainment folder or something else random about what the apps are. You can rename the folder you are creating by clicking on the folder name while the folder is open. I hope I have not explained this in to confusing of a way. Folders are fantastic, I have a ton as I have over 200 apps on my iPhone. Good luck
