mail signature bug

Hi all,

I know this may well have been raised elsewhere, but has anyone found a workaround? Basically, when trying to add a signature to an email account in 'settings', 'mail, contacts, calenders', 'signatures' the settings app always seems to crash. it's at a point when I get to the edit field where the signature is meant to be entered, I think. Using IOS 9.1 with an iPhone 6S. I have reported the bug to the Apple accessibility team. It seems as though the edit field for the signature can be selected by a sighted person with Voiceover disabled, and I have tried for example changing my default language in case it had anything to do with that, but that doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
